Happy Mother's Day...

JP was a champ and even remembered to send me a card :-) We had such a great day together...a long walk in the morning around Orenhofen, a BBQ with friends with tons of good food and playing on the slide, and another long walk in the afternoon along the river -- definitely a Mother's Day to remember!

JP wasn't too sure what to think about all the flowers around him...but with the wind blowing, they started to "tickle" him which he thought was pretty funny :-)

Spring has Sprung...

The weather has finally turned, so JP and I (and the pups) have been enjoying a lot of playing outside :-) JP's new favorite toy is the dog "Chuck-it" -- whenever he picks it up, Chance starts going NUTS until we go outside to play fetch. So...needless to say, we have been playing tons of fetch this past week or so. Works for me...JP laughs at the dogs running after the ball and the dogs get their workout in all at once.

Can you tell that we enjoyed the smoothies that Karissa made for us... JP esp. loved drinking from Enzo's cup (hence the lines on his forehead!)

Easter at Nana and Papa's...

We had so much fun with Nana, Papa, Auntie Mollie, Uncle Derek, Lillie and Emilie... Since I love playing "in and out" -- the Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success!

My first swim lessons with Coach Laura...

I may not be able to walk yet...but I am loving the swim lessons (at least most of the time)! I really just want to play so sometimes I cry when Coach Laura makes me kick my legs, stroke my arms or "swim" to the side of the pool :-)

JP had a great time celebrating with the family for his First Annual St. Patrick's Day Party -- it was too much fun having everyone together! It didn't take him long to figure out the cake and, as you can see in the last picture, he ate to his heart's content!

Calling Daddy on the telephone...

Another one of my new favorite toys from Nana...the telephone!!! I spend tons of time everyday calling Daddy to let him know how my day is going. It's amazing! He always answers the phone and chats for as long as I want to :-)

Playing with Nana...

Nana bought me the coolest toys from a toy store in Bernkastel... I love pulling the string for the bird and watching it fly and grabbing the frog to watch it jump -- they are so much fun!
